What's the warmest pickup Dimarzio makes?

Just wondering what is the warmest humbucker that Dimarzio makes that I could put in the bridge position of my Strat.

the double whammy is the warmest i tried then the breed bridge and
super 3 is very warm too
tone zone also is very warm
you can also use a 250K volume pot for any pup to warm it up

I would say the Tone Zone and the Breed are the 2 warmest pickups Dimarzio makes.

I've had a few tone zones and always liked em. Maybe I'll go with that

You could always try an Air Zone too

or even better maybe try out a Norton, it's super warm like a Tone Zone but really tight and full of harmonics like a Fred (dimarzio describes it as a mix between the 2 pickups)

just a couple extra suggestions I forgot to mention

Yea, I think a PAF (or Virtual PAF) would be nice.

I like lots of harmonics and overtones so maybe a Norton would be cool. Thanks.

Re: What's the warmest pickup Dimarzio makes?

Norton is actually a touch brighter than your run-of-the-mill PAFs.

If you want super warm, Breed is the way to go. Tone Zone is pretty warm too, as is the DP103 PAF.

As far as neck pickups go, the Air Norton is SUPER warm, you might want to look in to that for a bridge pickup. It's got cool harmonics, yet still retains warmth.

I think the Air Norton or the Breed is the warmest In my opinion, I'd go with the EVO 2 (which isn't the warmest in the world) but you can still use amp setting with a pickup to make it warm.

DiMarzio doesn't make anything remotely in the ballpark of Bartolini warmth. Are you looking primarily for warm or DiMarzio? If the answer is warm, you have other (better) options. I would think a Duncan Seth Lover is warmer than any DiMarzio as well.

A Breed Neck in the bridge is great, and way warmer than the bridge model...

Thanks Jim777, I don't have much experience with SD but I'll look into the Seth Lover.
