Who does it ?

...And I don't mean... IT

Question:
I want to buy a set of white evo's for my '89 PBK (I know, I know, I'm just done with the PAF's)
However, prices here in Holland get up to 125 dollars or more EACH!
I noticed prices on online stores ( american ) of 59,95.
Most of them don't seem to ship international (MF, SA)...

Which store with a good price does ship tot the Netherlands, Europe?

Pleaaassse help !

Yeah, ask a trusted Jemsite member to have them delivered and then send them on to you. I just got Jim777 (moderator) to ship a guitar to me, so don't ask him, he's busy!

Re: Who does it ?

Allright,.. I admit it,... I do like the PAF's...a bit.

I think it's a waste of PBK to leave it lying around while my other guitars get played a lot more. I'm actually a big fan of the SS/AN combo, but since it's a PBK,... Let's do evo's ! I can already hear myself pulling crazy harmonics
And the legacy I own doesn't hurt either in the combination.

But I have to get them first..

SO,.... who does it ?

Trading via a jemsite member will save me 19% though, since it can be shipped as a gift!

Make that 10%,... Have to pay for the effort ofcourse

Still,..any stores ?

Well then,... I guess not enough stores are shipping to Europe...
( I guess I'll have to go with idiotic prices then )

Most e*** stores will ship anywhere if you are willing to pay them postage - you just have to ask. I have only once had someone say, "sorry, US shipping only" to me, even though the auction states they ship to US only (maybe they just didn't like Aussies) - alternately, as Ibanezcollector says - there are most likely plenty of Jemsiters willing to help!

Re: Who does it ?

I would go with the Evo2 over the Evo in the bridge, it sounds alot better to me.

The problem with retailers selling overseas is that DiMarzio won't let them. If they get caught, DiMarzio will take away their dealership. So, you're going to need to get someone you trust in the states to pick up the pickups and ship them to you. Of course, you won't have the 30 day exchange unless you send them back to the person that bought them and let them exchange them.

Ah,.. that explains all ! There is only one importer in The Netherlands,.. So they charge pretty much anything they want.
And explains the "no international shipping" replies I've been getting from the online dealers!
