wiring 3 way switch with 2 dimarzio hums (coil splitting)

basic question i guess.

i have a TZ and an AN i want to put in the "big guitar" from my other thread. since i have them and the other guitar is out of commission it doesn't make sense to leave them sit.

obviously i'm trying to get the middle position to be each pup sharing one coil while the other positions carry each hum in parallel.

i don't think the stock EMG's allow for coil splitting and i think that's my confusion. looking at Jackson's wiring (nice work btw) it looks like each pickup only has a single positive lead where the dimarzio's have the red and white both as hots. the switch, if looking at it L to R you number the posts 1-6, is wired where: 1 = neck + and is jumped with post 2. 3 and 4 are also jumped together with 4 being the + to the volume pot. 5 and 6 are jumped together then with 6 being the bridge hot. all blacks are grounded on the vol pot, all green and bares are grounded on the tone pot. switch is grounded to a metal bit screwed to the side of the cavity.

from looking at it and brainstorming i'm thinking if i seperate the whites and blacks on the dimarzio's and wired the posts:

1 neck red
2 neck white
5 bridge white
6 bridge red

and put the blacks and green/bares all to their grounds i should end up with the middle postion with only the inside coils on.

the pickups will be mounted with adj poles going bridge side and neck side instead of on the insides.

ok guys so after poking around it looks like splitting coils won't be possible. so how do i wire up the dimarzio's regular? should i leave the white wires to ground?

nevermind. wired the TZ straight up and the AN in series. AN in series isn't anything too special. it brigthens it up but it's still a boring pickup in the neck.
