Question

Wiring a Dimarzio paf pro (parallel) in my RG 570 Question

Thanks guys im preparing to install this baby in the neck position so i thought id try to wire it parallel for a change.

In the information that dimarzio give you on that fold out page, it says that for Parallel:

1. Red and White go together, this is the HOT connection

2. Green and Black go together, This is the ground connection (Huh?)

3. The bare wire is of course grounded also.

So im looking at the swith in the control cavity and i look at where the wires from the original V1 pickup connect.

I see a red wire connected at the fist connection point and also the white wire connected further down, so my question is, which connection should the HOT leads from the pickup go to?

Also the green and black wires, are they simply soldered to a potentionmeter together or does the pickup get grounded through the other point in the switch?

Thanks guys i really appreciate it.
