Wiring Grounding Question- I feel dumb LOL

Sorry this is probably a dumb question but-

I am putting together a hardtail strat and- I have a ground wire coming off my bridge on a fender hardtail strat and am not sure where it goes.

Should I connect that wire to a tone or volume pot or to the output jack?
I've seen it done both ways and was wondering what I should connect it to.

Thanks!

I answered your question over at dimarzioforum.com but here it is again anyway... there is no difference as both the back of the volume and tone pots are grounded to the ground on the output jack.
