Wiring problems

Hi Jemsite members.
I'm here again posting my strange every day problems.
I recently got an Air Norton and Steve's Special for my '07 RGT42 that originally came with INF 1 and 2. after 4 hours of intensive search I did not find the color code translation between them, nor found any prestige guitar that used the same 5 way selector but with dimarzios. At the end some guy out there got the SD equivalents and I used the color codes at SD to find the DiMarzio equivalent to Seymour Duncans. My final table said that every color does the same (red-red, black-black, etc) except for blue, that was supposed to be the same as green. Could you tell me if I am right or could you write the real equivalents? I am asking because I wired them today, but only the 4 and 5 positions worked (full bridge, single coil without the neck single coil). Sorry for the post, it's just that I am worried that I burnt something or I am just stupid and wired it wrong and I didn't find any answers for my problem even using search function. http://www.ibanez.com/support/wiring/W03009CHHB11L5.gif that is the diagram I used the same colors, except for blue, which I changed for green.

Re: Wiring problems

I have two guitars with DiMarzios and the same switch, that's actually my favorite setup. In fact, my RG520 has the same pickup combo as well. I'm looking at it, and I'm using the green wire for ground on both pickups (so basically flip the order of the colors on the neck), but even if that was an issue for you, you wouldn't get no sound out of one, it might just sound odd in the combined positions.

I doubt anything is damaged, you probably just have a bad connection somewhere on the neck pup. The thing is that I don't think any one wire would cause you to get no sound in any position in this case, so I'm not sure what to suggest beyond to double-check everything.
