Would a neck pickup work in the bridge OK?

As the thread says; I've got a neck Breed. Would it sound OK in the bridge position?

It's probably lower output and designed with a slightly different frequency curve, but it's worth a shot trying it out if you have free time and a soldering iron.

Re: Would a neck pickup work in the bridge OK?

Breed bridge version is more bassy, maybe too much for some..I heard lot of people saying Breed neck works better for bridge position than Breed bridge version.
I had it in the bridge of basswood RG450..for me Breed in bridge was very nice, better than same pu in neck, but I put it back there cause I like my AZ better in bridge(more articulate and clear, but Breed has that more modern Vai feeling to it,nice in other way)..go try it in bridge!

Sure it'll work. Whether it sounds good or not is up to your ears.
