X2n-7

Anyone know if it's really out yet? It's listed in a few places ($79, ouch), but I haven't heard of anyone who has one yet.

I don't have any experience with the 6 string version, but I'm told it's the highest gain passive DiMarzio makes. I'd love to try it out, but are there any neck pickups that would be able to keep up with it, volume wise?

It's not on dimarzio's site of course. I'm going to call them and get one though. Should be cool.

Check with Eric at ericsguitars.com...he always has good prices on the p/u. I don't think it will 79.00. probably more like 69.00...it should be out now but ask eric since he is a dimarzio dealer.

I spoke to Dimarzio a couple of weeks ago and it should be in production by now. Also if you check the price list at dimarzio.com, it lists a d-sonic7 there as well. I want to try them both myself.
