X2N for country

I've really been into country style chicken picking lately, and I've found that the X2N makes for a great sounding country pickup. The extra drive and treble gives it that gritty "twang", especially when played on a tube amp that's been cranked a little. Just thought it was some neat info I'd share.

Re: X2N for country

i had an x2n installed in one of my guitars and yeah it was surpsingly bright , single coil like . I originaly thought it would be dark and so i wired it up in parallel , and it was like a single coil on steroids. I could definalty see it being used in country

Re: X2N for country

Anyone know if there's a difference between an X2N and an X2N Power Plus?
