Hi, the circuit board in my Yamaha TRB5 died and i replaced it with a good EMG one with the same pots, however, since then the bass sounds very thin. It sounds quite middle-boosted rather than the bottom end i had before and im not sure if it is because of the pre-amp or just yamaha picks with emg
preamp?
I would love it to
sound the way it did but if someone could suggest a good set of pickups and pre-amp to stick in it so i have a real quality sound, i would really appreciate it. Dont mind forking out a bit of money for high quality gear.
