YJM HS-3 Questions

I'm thinking of putting new pickups in my strat due to the single coil hum. I was thinking about the Malmsteen setup. I want it to play heavy blues and some fast lead playing.

How's the set for a regular blues tone? Also, due to the low power of the pups, do they not sound good at a low volume which is what I mostly play at lately. Maybe a Dimarzio Solo Pro in the bridge would be better for more bite and the YJM's in the other slots?

Keep the stock middle pickup, get a YJM or HS-3 neck pickup and something higher output in the bridge. Personally I quite like the YJM in the neck paired with an air zone in the bridge.
