I've always loved 'Into the groove', from Madonna. It's great.
Kind regards,

Re: 10 Cheesey songs that you like, but wont admit it to your mates.
I guess I could go through my old vinyl.... but there would be more than ten songs. Here's few I can think of though.
#1 "I want Candy" (by Bow wow wow) great guitar runs and Annabella Lwin..... she was hot. Loved the hair, made ya wonder what else she shaved.
#2 "Goodie Two Shoes" (by Adam Ant) got some cool clean guitar and loved the horns in there too. The real "catch" was the shhwweetie in the video.... she was hot I tell ya and man, what a "leg" on her!!! (starting to drool)
#3 "Mad About You" (by Belinda Carlisle) Bottom line she's still hot! Man, what I wouldn't have given to have been on the same tour as the Go Go's!
#4 "Our Lips Are Sealed" (by the Go Go's) What can I say..... Belinda, my kinda "party girl" back in the day!!! (drooling again)
#5 "Borderline" (by Madonna) Good musical composition...... and who cares, she's hot too!!!
#6 "Goodbye To You" (by Patty Smyth and Scandal) Good song, great hook and as always, what can I say....... Patty Smyth, a HOT little feisty thing! Went to "Hell" with marriage and a "Brooklyn" girl at heart.
#7 "Mickey" (by Toni Basil) Another shhwweet little thing...... anytime she wants to "cheer" for me...... and who's that "Mickey" dude??? He had it "made"! I mean with lyrics like this..... Jeez:
So come on and give it to me any way you can. Any way you wanna do it, I'll treat you like a man...
#8 "Sweet Caroline" (by Neil Diamond) Yeah..... I'm that old, I have the album (yes, real vinyl too) circa: "1972"
#9 "Diary" (by Bread) It was a "high school" kinda thing...... yep, back in good ol "72"
And finally #10.....
"I started a joke" (by The Bee Gee's) hey, I was an emotional train wreck in high school..... why do you think I turned to drugs! To "feel" nothing!
I guess at my age...... you're not so ashamed of these "cheezy" songs now though.

I'll be there for you///? Bon Jovi
I recently heard
Richie Sambora
sing it live...I'm not embarassed to admit that it was awesome.
Cheesy but cool

I think most Bon Jovi material is pretty good.... I think some see them as cheesy based on the fact that they are from that "glam" period of music. They have "staying" power though. And you have to give Richie Sambora credit.... he's no slouch on guitar, not to mention he's got some "pipes" too. I actually think he's a better singer than Jon.

What scares me is that you enjoy listening to them
