What kind of service are you looking for? Typically, if you buy a guitar at a certain guitar shop (i.e. Shimamura, ishibashi etc) you get discounts and/or free service for certain things. Shimamura only gives like 20% discounts on service (I bought my TS9DX there).
I bought my RG350EXZ at a local shop (Rockin) and my RG1550 (Aikyoku) and their service plans are really good. String changes are free (just pay for strings), if you ordered both your guitar and pups at Rockin, they will install them for free (if you only bought the guitar or the pups there, its 1500 yen per pup service charge). Minor adjustments like neck adjustments are free as well. It really depends on what kind of service you're looking to have done. If you want a new neck made or something, or you got your hands on an RG550 neck and you wanna make it a project, it could run you alot of money. Also, changing colors on your guitar will also cost you like 30,000-40,000 yen
