Ay I'm MELTING!!

I just had to run out to the grocery store and it is so friggin hot outside!! I don't know what the humidity is but the temperature reading was 96 degrees and it's almost 4pm!! This is going to be a looooooooooooooooong summer!

Since this forum has members all around the world, I thought it might be fun if people want to post the actual temps where they are. We can find out which member has the coolest temps and then give them lots of house guests! hehehehehehe

Thanks to all who participate.

Re: Ay I'm MELTING!!

It's not quite that bad here on the Delmarva Peninsula. It's been around 90 for the last couple days, but the humidity has been decent.

I'm packing alot of insulation, so I don't like anything above 80.

Re: Ay I'm MELTING!!

West Palm Beach, FL
32 deg. C, but feels like 37 deg. C - humidity at 56%.

Mornings are worse at somewhere around 85% to 90%.

Sorry, I've been on a deg. C kick for a couple of years to relate better to my Brit friends. 32C is around 90F, and 37C is around 99F.

My neighbors are on vacation, so yeah, I have a pool.

We could have a Jemsite cookout. That would be awesome.

Re: Ay I'm MELTING!!

dang, how i WISH it was even 90 degrees here. it's 90 at night here. in the daytime, it's been around 107 to 109, with the forecast reading 109 for the rest of the week. it's rediculous here, you're not even able to step outside without feeling exhausted.

Re: Ay I'm MELTING!!

Well was -4 degrees Celcius driving in to work this morning at 7.00am. We are supposed to have a top of 10 degrees Celcius.

Tomorrow we are supposed to have snow showers and a top of 5 degrees Celcius! We rarely have snow here in the winter, but it gets damn cold!

That's if the snow eventuates. When I say it rarely snows where I live I mean once in a blue moon every 10 years sort of thing. We usually never actually get snow coverage on the ground, just it floating down and melting. Where I live is in a valley so not the most suited to snow.

Plus you don't really want to be in our new house, it's freezing seeing as we can't run much in the house due to shoddy electrical work. We set off the circuit breakers all the time! Not enough heating going on and what heat we have is escaping because we have half-finished skylights letting the heat out. I just cut up cardboard squares to fill them last night to try and keep some heat in!
