Re: cellphone ringtones

You can't already make your own?
I rip chunks from movie soundtracks snip them and send 'em to my phone using Cool Edit and the cable that came with my phone.
My fave right now is the lil horn and drum riff from Kill Bill.
Then I took the drum beat from When the Levy Breaks and looped that a couple times. MUCH cooler than getting spammed by some ringtone site.

Re: cellphone ringtones

You can use audacity as well. The only thing is that you have to have some way of connecting your phone to your pc and uploadthe files to it. Most phones will deem that the ringtone be 30 seconds or less.

I'm trying it out now, w00t 5 hour wait time ftw, but if its free and it works, its worth it. I'll do it before I go to bed and DL them the next day hopefully. My first attempt is Becker's perpetual burn, after that, if it works, ill try some dethklok, since I use my phone as a alarm clock, I thought it would be cool to wake up to murmader \m/.
