Christmas shopping online?

I realized I don't have the energy this year to go searching for presents on my list from my kids. The gas, the time, the people, the aggravation. No way.

This year, it's all amazon for me. There may be cheaper websites, I don't care. I want quick and simple. Plus, there are reviews on the item pages and I can google other reviews. Right now I'm struggling deciding which graphics pad to buy my son. It's almost like buying a guitar for a beginner. You'd tell him to just get a really good guitar and skip the squire. But you know it might be a waste of money. So the squire sometimes really is the best bet for the noob. So in this case I'm trying to find a graphics pad that he wont be throwing across the room at me when it has "issues". Only, i don't want to spend a bunch of money.

But, used CD's, DVD's, Wii games and other stuff is pretty easy to find and cheap.

I shop for everything except food on line anytime of the year.
Why should I pay extra in the shops for the privilege of over crowded shops, hard to find parking spaces and less choice?

Re: Christmas shopping online?

As a man, I begin to panic when the Missus approaches me with "You did get them presents I told you to pick up weeks ago, didn't you??" I nervously say "Yes, you thought I'd forgot them!" Laughing nervously.

Most of my shopping has been done online for the past 4 years, easily over 75%. Play.com is a favourite of mine and then ****, only if she wants a specific dress or cosmetic beauty stuff, I have to go to Newcastle or Metrocentre. I got most of my Christmas deco online too.

I haven't shopped in a store in years. Why bother. I can order all the presents I need to, delivered to my door already gift wrapped.

Same here. Online prices are better, free shipping sometimes, ebates is awesome. Internet is the way to go!! But with the food shopping we have a super Walmart out here where the prices are very good, and it's surprisingly an awesome store...So when I'm shopping I'll pick up a dvd/cd or some other item I can't get at Wegmans
