I'm sure my cat can write better beats just walking on my keyboard.

Waylay00, I'm not trying to create a battle or debate on who has talent and who doesn't, but you're loosing the sense of this thread by arguing that rap isn't music, my opinion only suggested that people are, for the most, prejudiced based on what little they see and/or hear, not on what they know. You've proved this, so thanks !
Well of course people are going to judge music by what they hear. Isn't that the point?

And I don't encounter "little." I encounter it everyday when I'm with friends or out and about (my city is a rap capital).

But never mind, I don't mean to get off topic. I just wanted to clarify a few things.

That's weird, that we didnt have any hispanics before 2006.

As I said earlier, if you want to politely discuss racism, do it....politely. If you want to discuss race, you're out of line. This thread has been open a while anyway, and I don't know that there is a lot left ot say anyway. It exists; surprise! It always will because people fear the unknown.

This line
"With all due respect, if you're White American or European or Australian you're going to see a very limited amount of racism. It's like a Queen in her palace thinking life is good while the peasants on the outside are starving"

and this one:
"In spite of that, a White American whose ancestors probably came here on a boat due to criminal deportation or opportunism will look down on me as a pariah and a non-American. You have no idea how frustrating that is."
What's wrong with the above quotes? The first one is a simple fact. Can you dispute that White Americans receive less racism than Black Americans or Mexican Americans?

Regarding the second statement, am I saying White Americans are descended from criminals? No. I'm clearly talking about the type of people who look down on people as "non-American" for being a different race than them.

Reading comprehension....but I think your problems probably weren't really with the two statements of mine you quoted.

I believe that the minority races have much more animosity towards White Americans and against each other than whites do against them. Whites also don't use race as a factor in their self identity nearly as much.

What I was getting at it the fact that a lot of the older haters grew up in a time when you didn't have the mix in schools. They were predominently "ONE COLOR" schools and any one not fitting (that color) was looked down on.

Nowadays we all grow up together. We all go to school together and hang together and become friends together so the racism thing for the most part doesn't exist in the younger folk;O)

This gets my vote for the most rediculously closed minded post of the the year

You don't get out much do ya, lol. I get called a "crakcer boy" all the time I think it's funny. It's like...awww thanks!!! Yep, that's what I am and I'm proud of it

That's somethng that cracks me up about racism. If someone calls you your color, then you should be proud they noticed What, do people that get all butthurt for being called who they are wish they were something else??

Racism doesn't compute in my mind! Heck manybe I'm the small minded one here

That would be considered the mongrelization of the inlays and you're frowned upon. I am very inlaycist when it comes to that...

Thanks for the criticism without anything valuable to offer in the contrary. You may as well have exclaimed "Let them eat cake!"

If you disagree with the FACT that White Americans experience FAR LESS racism than Mexicans or Blacks, then why not substantiate your position with something other than kindergarten schoolyard ad hominems? Or are you only capable of talking about being "butthurt"?

I personally find it mind boggling that any White person would disagree that they experience far less racism than a Black person in America.

By the way, dude, no one on planet earth says "Cracker boy" unless they are a total freaking flamer.
