Don't get a wild hair.....

...stuck to the red light on your mouse. Our cat seems to think every elevated surface belongs to him. My mouse picked up a little hair stuck to the light. The pointer does goofy things when that happens.

If ALF were here, I think I'd just go ahead and let him eat the cat.

Didn't know where else to put this. Just cleaned out the Christmas stuff, and got the living room back to it's state of belonging! Time to ROCK!!!

Your front door swings in. Someone's going to knock over that JBL monitor and the electric drum kit when they walk in.

Is the gold album on the wall for something you recorded?
If that's your living room where do the rest of the family hang out?

Re: Don't get a wild hair.....

We don't use the front door. We live in a rural area on a narrow road. All the parking is on the side of the house in front of the barn, we use that door.

The gold album on the wall, is a gift from a friend. He's the bass player in Fuel. It was for their Something Like Human album hitting 500,000. I think it eventually did double platinum or something very well.

I am doing something different. All direct. I'm using the XTLive, which after some tweaking was able to get able rehearsal tones out of. My daughter is running the Valvtronix direct as well. Drums are direct and bass through an Avalon U5 direct. Since there is no noise other than what comes out of the PA, it's so much easier to hear everything. Plus, running though a couple thousand watts in a 10x12 space ROCKS!! Though we really don't turn it up loud, no need to.

Re: Don't get a wild hair.....

Can someone help me with something. I want to plug my dv cam into my dvd writer/vcr then rip the dvd to my computer. Sadly my sony dv cam has no drivers for Vista and will not connect. The question is. What is the best way to get the dvd converted to mpeg so I can edit in movie maker. I have dvd shrink, but it doesn't rip to mpeg. Anyone doen this?

Tried that. Sony decides not to update the drivers for my particular Mini DV cam. I heard there is a way to do a virtual XP setup on my vista system. But I really don't have the patience to get that involved.
