Help, looking for a software "connection"

My son just turned 14, and he wants Photoshop CS4. It retails for...@ $600. Depending on where you look. We have a friend that was going to try to get a student discount for $250, but it didn't work out. So now I'm looking for someone that might have a connection that can get us a, less than full retail price for a full, licensed, new copy. Warez and p2p etc. downloads are out of the question.

I can certainly sleep a lot better without a few hundred bucks than I can with a pirated software program on my sons laptop.

If someone wouldn't tuck it in their jacket and steal it from a store, then why would they steal it with a mouse click?

If your son is 14, he should be in school, right? How strict is Adobe with the student discount thing; do you need a college ID or something? I'd contact them directly and see what they could do for you.

High school can get the discount drop a couple hundred and do it. Go to Studica.com

Emailed them and found out they do extend the student discount to home schoolers.
