Music stores. Virtually every store I visit has a notice board for musicians to post want ads on. Always worth a look.

Andy you could just join my band, my co guitarist just formed his own band so
I'm looking a new guy, we use the same amp (tremoverb) anyways.

Or anyone else in central Carolina unless you wanna drive.
Anyone interested can hit me up for details.

I thought this would go well in this thread anyways.

If all else fails i'll get my old guitar instructor to fil in.
that'll look normal. 17 yr old, 18 yr old, 17 yr old, 19 yr old, 39 yr old playing a LP supreme...

But if you are ever in this part of the country.... head over callen,andy,gilky, etc. Nc guys.

or even better join my band haha.


There's a good point in there somewhere.

Wouldn't work as well if your a generic rock band compared to EXTREME METAL band though.

we are an extreme metal band, Extremely lazy. Extremly loud, Sounds extremely like 5 guys in a barn.

I'd take that offer, but I have a feeling that we like different styles of music. I'm looking to start an experimental/indie rock band. You got anything I could listen to?

1. Go watch live local bands and zone in on the good players for the spots you need. This works really well for drummers and bass players especially if the rest of the band sucks.

2. Don't focus too much on age. For example, no reason to blow off a great bass player because he/she is too young/old.
