but £175 for an ibanez RG350 is a bloody good price! considering i paid £350 when it was new new and now new its still geberally £300!!!!!!

u put it in the friday ad, on here in numerous places, all over other websites on the bay and what response do i get?!?!!

That's Jemsite's classifieds for you. Sometimes you get lucky and sometimes you don't. I think there is only a small chunk of the people here that will actually buy from them and a lot of them are waiting for the right deal.

It's useful though. I've practically given guitars away at times just because I'd rather deal with someone on here than on e-bay.

It's luck of the draw whether a buyer has cash at the right time when you place your ad.

Actually, perfect example...

I've sold quite a few Jems recently and listed them all here with no interest. I put them on e-bay and got more or the same as what I was asking here, but they ALL sell within 24 hours maximum.

I think that goes to show that when a site dedicated to Jems aren't buying, it proves the notion that only a handful of guys want to buy/sell here. Like I say, that's not a bad thing, it's just how it is. Personally, I'm very thankful for having the opportunity to post ads on here.

Maybe just hold off a while and then put it up again. I wouldn't be surprised if there are people here who are still paying for Christmas and Valentine's Day. Maybe if you offer it over summer you'll get more bites??
