Is it bad to only sleep every two days?

So you said in another thread youve tried to comit suicide 4 times, but youve never been in hospital and on suicide watch?? If you had you wouldnt be asking how to find a conselor.

Ya my moms Ex got hooked on meth.. He would have a week where he would spend all his money on it and be up for days at a time then he would get realllly sick and lay in bed for 3-4 days.. Its some crazy bad stuff man.

Not really. Some people need less sleep than others. Myself, I can get by just fine on 5 hours a night, and this is how it's been for many years. A growing child will need more sleep than a fully grown adult. My girlfriend likes to have 10 hours (WAY too much). Amount of sleep needed varies greatly from person to person.

i like all that i can get!! any sort of day where i have nothing planned becomes a sleep day! get up after about 15 hours sleep (im odd, i can sleep that amount!!) then mooch around doing nothing in a very unconstructive way then maybe head out for the evening. i need lots of sleep and did get into a habit the other week of going out til late, get up early, go to lectures, come back from lectures, sleep all afternoon, eat, do work, go out til late....

You tend to need less sleep as you get older, Tim. I don't know your age but I'd imagine you're somewhere in your 20's. I seemed to need less sleep after I reached about 25-30.

On a serious note dude, you should seek a professional opinion. If you haven't slept in 2 days going on 3 (or more), there's definitely something that is not right. Either you are depressed, traumatized by a big incident that has taken place in your life or worse, you could perhaps be experiencing a stage of suicidal tendencies.
