My New Philosophy Blog
Hey Guys,
I want to share my new
blog
that touches on several aspects of philosphy.
It proves to be a good read and some of you may find interesting.
In my first post, I explain on how it is possible to predict the future.

Thanks

Re: My New Philosophy Blog
Ah, Philosphy!
Immanuel Kant was a real pissant
Who was very rarely stable.
Heidegger, Heidegger was a boozy beggar
Who could think you under the table.
David Hume could out-consume
Wilhelm Freidrich Hegel,
And Wittgenstein was a beery swine
Who was just as schloshed as Schlegel.
There's nothing Nietzsche couldn't teach ya'
'Bout the raising of the wrist.
Socrates himself was permanently pissed...
John Stuart Mill, of his own free will,
On half a pint of shandy was particularly ill.
Plato, they say, could stick it away;
Half a crate of whiskey every day.
Aristotle, Aristotle was a bugger for the bottle,
Hobbes was fond of his dram,
And Rene Descartes was a drunken fart: "I drink, therefore I am"
Yes, Socrates, himself, is particularly missed;
A lovely little thinker but a bugger when he's pissed!

Re: My New Philosophy Blog
When I was young, I told my mom that I was interested in
philosophy
and she said, "don't ever become a philosopher, they're never happy." And that's largely true.

Re: My New Philosophy Blog
I don't understand negative reactions to outside ideas, or even simple rambling. I love to hear people just talk, whether it be for a point or not. As long as it's intelligent (or under the influence of cannabis
) then I thoroughly enjoy listening to or participating in the conversation.

Is it a negative reaction or a practical application of reverse psychology to generate interest in the thread?
Personally, i'm all for a bit of mental exercise, I need all the help I can get in that area.
