BUT her recording company said NO !

Picture that crap annoying umbrella song with a metal riff !

In a toss up between Rihanna and James Hetfield... Rihanna's the looker out of the two, and she does have a good voice (when she's not going gaga for the whole repeating the song title thing, see Umbrella and Shut Up N Drive) but yeah, probably would be a bit weird to see her fronting a metal band. I'd be interested in hearing it though, should she ever give it a shot.
