Ya, dumb Sharks. Always next year I guess. I'm going to root for the Panthers from here on, they seem like a darkhorse team.

Re: NHL '11-'12 BS thread
Don't know what to think about the Devils, I'm torn betwen wanting them to win and having them lose to get Brodeur to retire already. The 1st goal he didn't have the pipe, the 2nd...the 2nd wasn't something an
NHL
goalie should have allowed. He's 40 next month, he was a rookie in '92, he needs to retire. And the rest of the team ain't so hot either! lol Devils have lost 5 of their last 6 elimination games, with 4 of those 5 coming at home. They just don't seem to be plahying like they really want to win. The only bright side of game 6 will be not listening to John Davidson call the game - damn that guy is a homer.
Nice to see the Preds beat the Wings, that's a deserving team. The Sens should take the Rags in 6 if they keep playing like they have. They look great.

Re: NHL '11-'12 BS thread
Brodeur isn't just a goalie; he's an institution. Hard to believe he was in net when I really started getting into
hockey
during the Rangers '94 run. The NJ NYR series in those finals is what got me watching hockey regularly. As much as I'm conditioned NOT to like NJ, it would be nice to see Marty go out in a good light. Three cups, gold medals, and numerous championships - it would be a shame to see him go out broken, eroding, and holding on too long.
Yeah, that second goal was something Brodeur should have stopped, but damn it if the Cats didn't fight like hell between the blue lines to keep that play alive. Let's see what teams show up on Tuesday.

Re: NHL '11-'12 BS thread
Nashville might be the only team in the league where the fans have fewer teeth than the players. If anyone finds the dentist in TN I'm sure he could comfirm

I know there's a more than likely chance the Hawks won't make it past this round. That being said Suck it, hosers! Vancouver's Diving team has a 9:00 tee time.

Is Schnider the future? I thought he looked good in all the games he played.
EDIT: Looking at his numbers maybe not. Maybe they can send Lou to that hypnotist like in "Office Space".

Done....can't believe we could only win 1 playoff game....pathetic...mike, your kings brought it and the Canucks didn't....kings were tenacious and the Canucks weren't ....the better team won no doubt.... Going for the senators now - someone has to bring Lord Stanley's cup back home to Canada

Re: NHL '11-'12 BS thread
The Kings were dealt 1st round losses in the first round by the Canucks and Sharks the last two years if I remember right. It happens. You can only hope management makes some moves that will make you better next year. I think the Jeff Carter trade made a world of difference.
I guess we'll find out tonight if the Sens get past the Rangers and my team gets to hang out with yours on the golf course, Ron.

Re: NHL '11-'12 BS thread
Don't (didn't, maybe) the canucks have a green jersey with the 'stick in rink' logo? Maybe it's their third jersey or something?

Re: NHL '11-'12 BS thread
It's their current alt jersey.
I will say one thing. Jovo is still around and doing well. Pavel Bure is long gone. Interesting if you think back on it. I remember drinking the Pavel Bure cool aid back in the day but, man, Canuck fans were right on that one.
