I think the current 3rd is blue with the stick in rink, not green. Thought I remembered a green one though. Might have only been one year or something.

I don't really know the Panthers organization well, and the devils org is pretty secretive, but are the Panthers execs all nuts?

It's not really too far from the mark; the story I mean. If you go to any Panthers home game you'll see just as many "visitor" team jerseys as home team sweaters. It's just how this town is. I can see an NJ fan throw a rat on the ice just as easily as I can see a homer who knows nothing about hockey throwing it too early. If I were there and I saw someone in a Cats jersey throwing a rat on the ice before the end of the game I might have to punch them. It's just plain stupid to get a delay of game penalty for your team simply because you're ignorant as to how things work in the game.
Reading between the lines I'm betting Panthers managment is just playing it safe (either from opposing team fans or the ignorant and often band wagon jumping homer) and basically blaming Jersey fans.

I can see this being true. Maybe you get 1 or 2 a-hole Devils fans in town, but there were a LOT of rats on the ice prior to the end of the game. I was shouting at the TV because I knew many were fans who simply didn't know better.
I can also see the NHL calling them telling the Cats to cut it out. Honestly, who's going to walk away from a cash cow of selling someone a rat for $5, having them throw it on the ice, then scooping it up and selling the very same rat again for $5?

I wonder if there will be any thrown on the ice tomorrow night at The Rock?

I hear Alfredsson will be back for tonights game, should be fun. Is Boyle out with a concussion? I read he had a concussion but frankly I don't know the situation.

Its all up to boston now otherwise sports are over for me for the year. i could be ok with ottawa or the rangers winning it all but florida, st louis, nashville, phoenix and l.a., id rather watch nickleback watch paint dry

More game 7's in the east than you can shake a stick at! A little sad the Cats couldn't put it away last night. Now it's anyone's game.
