Yup. Panthers suck again. Blowout loss to the Flyers 7-1. At least the Rangers, Kings, and Jets won. The Cats were so bad I switched to the Kings-Dogs game which was fun and competitive.

Hey Mike, Kings and Canucks tonight...let's hope it's a good game - seems like both teams are having a tough time scoring, especially the Kings lately.

Charv, your Sharks look deadly...maybe the team to beat in the NHL right now - that top line is on fire...the Hawks are looking good too

Unbelievable! I went to bed with the Canucks up 2-0 and thinking the Kings would lose. I guess Jeff Carter came alive. Also, looks like another clutch performance for Lou.
But, hey, the press (the two guys who cover hockey on 1/5th of their time down here) have been lighting up Theodore too.
Oh well.

Yup, nice comeback win for the Kings...Canucks blew a 2 goal lead yet again...done that at least 3 times this year...

Lou was actually pretty good in that game - he made a number of great saves - even the TV announcers were saying that he was having a great game - I'm not the biggest Lou fan but I think his D let him down a bit in that game...Edler looked like a deer in headlights on the tying goal...oh well - back to the drawing board for coach AV ;o)

Well, the Panthers face the Jets tonight. The eight or so real hockey fans down here, including myself, are livid over the performance thus far.
To be honest I might just watch the Rangers at Pens game tonight. The Oilers vs the Sharks looks good too for the late game.

Devils/Isles then Oilers/Sharks here. I'm liking what I am seeing of the Oilers while I still have all the free hockey games, they are a fun bunch to watch.

I was thinking this was a thread about how much BS EA NHL 13 the game is.

We play that at my work (2 vs 2) and seriously there's some BS moments in it haha.

Anyways, as for the real NHL, I refuse to watch it, due to the whole lock out mess.

Maybe I'll come back for the playoffs.

...lol...youre funny...it's upto 8?! and how many of those fans are canadian snowbirds ;o) seriously, that is a bad start for the Panthers - they were looking pretty good at times last year so a 1 - 5 start must be pretty disappointing...especailly after picking up some momentum last year - didn't they sell out quite a few of their home games?

the bottom of the east is interesting right now - I know it's early but the Caps are 2nd to last in the east at 1-4-1 with the Flyers right above them at 2-5...cant stand the Flyers so I'm loving that

I'm with you Jim - the Oilers are a fun buch to watch!

The goaltending controversy continues to rage out of control here with a shutout by Lou last night. He has looked really good inthe last two games - even though we lost in the shootout on Monday he was probably our best player in that game.

Ha! Yeah, I wasn't counting snowbirds or recent transplants either.
We finally won one against the Jets! Let's see if we can keep it going against Buffalo. Versteeg is back so that helps.'

This Edmonton / Sharks game is pretty good so far. I want to watch the Kings game but the Oilers / Sharks is keeping my attention.

Anyone know when the Center Ice preview ends?
EDIT: Never mind. I googled it. The preview ends tonight.

Getting tired of the Devs blowing these games in OT. And the Isles with 9 guys on the ice at one point, WTF?! lol

Wish I had the option of getting the Center Ice package, 50 bucks for cryin' out loud! it was 170+ last year for 82 games, 50 for 48 is a steal. I'm going to miss watching the Oilers games, I think Yakupov might actually be the last piece of that puzzle. At any rate they certainly aren't playing like a team that's going to get another 1st overall pick any time soon.
