afternoon all.someone is interested in buying my peavey,but they want to pay vai NOCHEX ive never heard of it before.the buyer states that the cash will be delivered to my door,ive looked on nochex website and according to that the maximum you can send is £300 a day (selling guitar £645),also both parties must be members of nochex im not.let me know what you think,im very dubious as buyer states that cash is delivered to my door,doesnt mention anything about that on nochex website.cheers folks

You're not a member. You're the seller, you make the rules. Unless the money is badly needed, I would have waited for the next buyer.

Never heard of it and ain't interested in giving someone else my bank account info. Sounds like an info grabbing site to me. And if cash is delivered to your door what would they need your bank info for anyway? No way.

THANKS FELLAS.the buyer didnt ask for my bank details,just my name and address.im not going ahead with it.emailed buyer guitar is sold.the site ive advertised the guitar on is called gumtree,few months ago i had my nokia n95 for sale on there and loads of scammers were asking for my bank details for payment,i dont keep any bank or any other details on my pc even my name and address is false,this is cos a mate of mine got his pc hacked and they stole £1800 out of his bank.thanks again lads best wishes for 2009,rob
