Oatmeal Cream Pies

Strolling through Wal-Mart buying groceries, I noticed there was a sale on Oatmeal Cream Pies....two boxes for $2. As a poor/thrifty college student, there was no way I could pass this up. I got in the car and immediately popped open a box, and started digging into one. As I was chomping away, I noticed that they have considerably less cream than they used to? Anyone else notice this? Kinda ruined my day

DUDE I JUST FINISHED EATING ... TWO!!! haha!!!
Yeah, the cream level seems to have dropped.............
How sad is that?
Well.. Don't let it ruin your day.
Do you eat them like a sandwich or what?
I pull mine apart piece by piece and savor EVERY BITE.. heheeee!

Oatmeal Cream Pies.. Sooo much better than Oreos!

Re: Oatmeal Cream Pies

Of course I eat them as a sandwich. When you pull them apart (or an Oreo or any sandwich cookie), one side inevitably has all the cream stuck to it while the other does not. The side without always ruins it for me. The way I eat an Oatmeal Cream Pie is to bite of a chunk, and then press it to the roof of your mouth with your tongue so the cream is squeezed out the edges of the cookies and is easier to mix in with the oatmeal as you masticate.

I think I have spent far too much time analyzing these damn cookies!

Re: Oatmeal Cream Pies

Well, when I say I pull them apart I don't mean like.. You pull the top from the bottom. It's pretty much the same as biting it off, but you pull it off with your fingers instead. I, too, push it to the roof of my mouth, just so that the cream kind of spreads itself out.... Mmmmm....
Aren't they Little Debbie??

Re: Oatmeal Cream Pies

Oatmeal cream pies are best when eaten all at once, not piece by piece! Stuffing an entire pie in your mouth at once is good too. Rob, I gotta try that frozen trick (it works great with yodels and yogurt).
