recommend me somthing other than limewire


morning lads.well this is for my son for downloading music to his phone.i dont want to use limewire as its just bad bad bad.does anyone know of any simular music downloads without viruses ect.cheers folks

Torrents. Torrent sites have mostly full albums as opposed to individual songs but if he just wants one song he can select it when opening the torrent file for the album and download just that song.

ITunes? Depending on his phone and who pays for it, you can also use Spotify on some phones.

I hate to tell ya bro, but if your downloading music for free, then you are likely to get a virus. I am a pro computer "guy" and I know. The only way to get music without eventually getting a virus is to pay for it with Itunes, or Napster, or something similar. Sorry dude!

There are tons of rootkits out there as well, so a virus isn't even your bigegst worry.

Again, since this topic lends itself to discussion on how best to steal copyrighted material, I think we can live without it here. This is info that can be had elsewhere on the interwebs.
