Re: So I've been posting over at Ibanez's forum..

Well that isn't against the rules of the forum. And I doubt that is why.

I just registered a new account. Screw em.

I go back the next day and that account is deleted and the thread I made was too.

So now I am thinking I was banned. But I can't for the life of me think of anything I did that would be CLOSE to banning material.

The mods run the place horribly, and value no consumer input.

I found a bug for them once and the one admin told me it was basically a user error and got all condescending to me.

I wonder if Ibanez knows it's forum admin. treats the customers this way.

Just real obnoxiousness going on. I bet Ibanez has no clue.
Hey Kev, It's Jibboom off the Ibanez Forum, and I'm having the same trouble as we speak, I cannot log in! All that input I gave to that forum and now I've been let down by dodgy mods and software, I'm here and on SS.org from now on. . .

I still think Ibanez needs to know what is going on.

Re: So I've been posting over at Ibanez's forum..

That is what I was hinting around with..

But i don't want to bother anyone. This isn't just a single person complaining.

This is a good bit of the forum regulars. I wont even go into how the software is screwy with quoting and pasting URL. Something the Admins there attempting to blame "User error" on and got all condescending to me about it.

Or the fact you can't post 4 messages in a certain amount of time without being blocked.

All these things we were told "TOO BAD"

I thought it was supposed to be a USER forum for the CUSTOMERS.

Not a ego forum for the admins to pound their chests and act condescending.

Re: So I've been posting over at Ibanez's forum..

And it wasn't. Gone.

They say to msg them if you have any problems. I did. I got no answer.

Their forums are run by retards.

I suggest everyone just boycott them. Let the help there answer all the questions. It seems that is what they want anyhow.

The account was deleted for repeated use of inappropriate content.

Posted by admin.

Re: So I've been posting over at Ibanez's forum..

The account was deleted because I kept making new accounts and posting questions.

If they had just told me from the start why I was banned or the fact I was just banned I would have never made said post.

They never gave me a reason why the Ke^in account was originally banned.

So let me get this straight, they will ban you, and not tell you that you are banned, or tell you why.

And if you create accounts and post asking questions why (Which is inappropriate content) then your original account will be deleted for posting inappropriate content.

And the "if you have a problem, msg a moderator" crap is bull****. I DID msg a moderator. Waited a day or so. NOTHING. Yet they can delete the users and topics within a matter of minutes.

What kind of crack-pot forum are they running?

Seriously, I've never see the like. And again, I dout the people TRUELY in charge know anything about how it's run.

I am HOPING this is just a isolated incident on the part of the kids running the forum. (Obviously we are dealing with kids here) and not a policy Ibanez itself has.

It would suck to think Ibanez supported a policy that would treat it's customers this way.

Jay13 from the start hasn't liked me. I got there and found a TON of forum bugs that was messing up threads. I informed him of the problem. All I got was condescending attacks and private messages telling me to shut up about the bugs.

I guess if you ignore them, they go away.

They are still there. All of them.

I've just gone over there to have a look...it doesn't have a "club" feel like Jemsite. I would be cautious about posting anything critical at all (not ideal I know...)

Anybody else agree/disagree?

Re: So I've been posting over at Ibanez's forum..

And the Jokers running it doesn't want that feel to it. They want a corporate bull**** feel to it. I told them long ago that they would ruin the site with those intentions. I was right.

And I agree. Jay13 registered here and posted once I see. He is one of the biggest offenders of the abuse in the forum.

Will ban people, but not tell them they are banned or explain to them why.

What a spineless marooon.

Hmmm....like I've said, the rules are open to interpretation. What may be inappropriate to one person, may not be to another.

So there you have it.
