Now the Ibanez fanboys (And I don't mean that in a good way) are attacking me over there.

They think Ibanez forums = Ibanez guitars.

And I am attacking Ibanez it seems.

That place is just for them.

The problem isn't even the users. It's the moderators. I have come to find out, if I even was banned at the time It was probably for complaining about forum bugs.

Jay13 took this personally. Even went as far as to claim It was a "user error" on my part. That I didn't know how to use forums.

Even after I showed examples of others having the same problem, Jay would claim I was the only one having said problem.

Finally someone went to him and said "look it's a real problem" did he even mention looking into it. And then he never apologized to me for being a condescending ass. He then told me if I brought up any forum bug again I would be banned.

A week or so ago ran into another bug and made a joke about it. So that is probably what did it. And that is probably why he wont say why I was banned.

Because it was personal.

This whole problem would have been avoided had Jay or whoever sent me a message say "You're account has been suspended for two weeks for infraction of the rules" this would have never happened.

Sounds like textbook bad forum

You won't get that kind of thing here - there's a very proffessional, supportive environment. Glen is a good moderator and he will usually give a heads up before even giving a small infraction. Even though we're a relatively small community now, it still frightens me to think that it could get out of proportion like so many other forums today. This is a good place, lets all remember that and keep it that way.

I may be a little late on this, but welcome to the forum Kev, good to have you aboard

Same here.

Listen guys, you seem to have legitimate gripes with that forum, and I honestly couldn't give you a clue as to what's happening over there. It's a completely different kind of thing when a forum is corporate owned, and when it is privately owned.

That said, we don't want to be in a place where we're seen as dissing other forums. It isn't good manners, and can cause all kinds of issues that can go on for months, if not longer. So, you're all more than welcome to chill here, and enjoy Ibanez happiness with lots of other Ibanez happy people. You're also more than welcome to talk about your Jacksons, Carvins, ESPs, Fenders, Ovations, etc until you're tired of talking about them But we do discourage bashing other forums as a general rule. I know I'm a week late to this thread, so I'm guessing everyone has gotten it all out of their system anyway.

Welcome aboard,

jim
