OK, OK. Abba's Greatest Hits. There, I said it.

Not really.

It was OTV -Serious Young Insects. Actually, you might know it, being Australian! w00t!

I'm listening to Guthrie Govan's Erotic Cakes album now.

Hahaha!!

Wow, how sad (j/k) i do know Serious Young Insects. Haven't heard them for a looooooong time.

Speaking of Guthrie, i'm going through his Guitar Soloing School lessons from the GT mags at the moment. God i wish he'd suck at just one thing, i'd feel so much better. LOL!!

Re: What song are you listening to now?

"Them"? They are (actually WERE) OTV (On The Virg)! The album name is Serious Young Insects. Virgil Donati is the drummer (best in the world, no question, don't anyone even attempt to doubt it or I will kill you!). Are you thinking of the band with the same name as the title? Don't!

Go on, click it!

Oh wait! You can download the first track in full here:

I only learned that Virgil stole the name quite recently! I have never heard the band Serious Young Insects, what are they like?

I didn't like them, not my style. It's new wave/Alternative.

Ah, not really. I hate ABBA! My dad always plays it during car journeys. I always feel like jumping out of the moving vehicle causing certain death.

Anne -- Cheers, I'll check SYI. I won't like it though. Just curious.

Re: What song are you listening to now?

Now listening to Stevie Wright (of easybeats fame), doing Evie, Parts 1,2 and 3. Vanda and Young have written some great songs over the years.

Jimmy, i agree with you on Images and Words. It's one of my favs too, along with Six Degrees.

On Guthrie, yep he certainly is a great teacher. It's just a little disheartening at times, trying to learn his stuff!

Dee, you really aren't missing all that much

Annie, this is cute. I've never heard anyone say "oopsydoodles" in my life. My horizons have been broadened this evening.

Re: What song are you listening to now?

Do you know the word "head" is censored over at the Ibanez forum, so now you can't say "headstock"? And the letters "FU" together, so you can't say "full" or "beautiful". They haven't censored "ass", though. The used to, so you couldn't say "bass".
