Re: Why the weekends are special

One thing I like about Seattle is good fresh salmon and seafood.

I think I'm going to try cooking salmon on the BBQ this year just to tick off Jim!

Re: Why the weekends are special

Food is the one reason I look forward to the weekend.
I decided to eat Kosher for Lent, so when Sunday rolls around I'm jonesing for some pork and cheese products. I usually pig out (pun intended) on BBQ pork sandwich with melted swiss cheese from the local sub shop. It's like a thin slice of heaven.
Mmmm...only one more day!

Re: Why the weekends are special

^^^^Mmmm, I love breakfast! Look good LonePhantom!

My wife had a rough week and life is getting hard for her. So today (Saturday), I needed to cheer her up...

First, I made her an appetizer...

To go with the appetizer, she needed some sparkling wine...

Ah because I love her, why not really spoil her. Let's add some strawberry puree blended with simple syrup first.

Now let's pour the sparkling wine:

Bon Appétit!!!

And now she needs CHOCOLATE!!!!

I think I'll get lucky tonight!

If you don't, it isn't from a lack of trying

That looks good with the egg on there too.. MMMMMMMMmmmm.

I need to run out and get some breakfast fixings (no, not grits ) like muffins, eggs, sausage AND bacon after seeing that. I'll also need something to clear my arteries as well

When i'm not gigging - my favorite reason for weekends - we play poker with some friends and it usually gets fairly crazy. The theme for our last poker night was "Shopping carts and nakedness". Crazy fun!

Weekends can't be that special as i don't often remember much of them!!!

I don't know too much about last night either!!

(numerous pints of Carlsberg Export and the odd Kronenburg just MAY have had something to do with it??? )

Jager Bombs and beers have that affect on my weekends. We polished off half a bottle of Jager last night.

Here's to it! Cheers!
