Xmas before Halloween
It's happening earlier and earlier every year. The damn Xmas adverts have started on TV here in the UK, in fact they've been going for a while now and we're still 11 days before we go into to November. Xmas is bad enough with all the shopping hysteria and pressure it puts people under without starting to force it on us in October. So now the Xmas season is gonna run for approx 2 1/2 months and by the time it finally arrives I'm sick to my back teeth of it.

sure is. Saw on the news the other day Target and Walmart are already starting to cut prices for popular toys in anticipation of a slow season.

Re: Xmas before Halloween
It is made to get your mind into thinking" i have to buy something for christmas or else i'am a loser" earlier and therefore more sells. Don't ya just love the xmas spirit! YAY!

Re: Xmas before Halloween
I've seen tons of Christmas stuff in the stores already. I'm surprised they even take it down after Christmas at this rate

Re: Xmas before Halloween
I haven't seen ads yet, but I just watched a Christmas based episode of Futurama on TV.
I'm personally more annoyed at back to school ads in the first week of July...

Re: Xmas before Halloween
Try being stuck in New York during Christmas, no matter where you go, you hear xmas songs, its like being stuck in an elevator 24/7 :P
