Your guitar/bass name?
See, I'm insane and name all of my guitars. I do it because they're not just pieces of wood with strings to me. They're an extension of my personality. And I push my personality, thoughts, secrets and feelings through them. So I feel that it's right to name them.
So if you have named your guitars, what are the
names
?
Post pictures if you can!!!
Here are mine:
RG570DX. Mara. Mara is a maleficent female wraith in Scandinavian folklore that causes nightmares. I named her that because she's my most brutal of all brutal death metal guitars. I push darkness, anger and hate through her. And the sounds she produces will give you nightmares of brutal death metal! She's in C# Standard.
Mostly play stuff like this with her.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NfglcPPaLJk
RG7620. Minax. It means "Menacing" in Latin. That reason should be self explanitory. The music she helps me produce is truely menacing! Tuned to Drop A.
I play music like this on her.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZDxy-a8ZMQc
Jackson DK2M. Hariel. She is an Angel of Science and Art. I gave her that name because she's bright in looks AND tone. So I figured an angel name would work the best. Also in Drop A. Not sure what the hell to do with this one though.

Re: Your guitar/bass name?
I have an orange RG. After about a month of refering to it as my "orange RG",, I combined the 2 words so now its just called "Orangie"
oh, and I almost forgot about "The Clone"...

Re: Your guitar/bass name?
'01 RG570GN - "Silver" due to its finish. Really it's grey nickle but "Silver" fits.
RG550RF 20th - "602". Because its 602/1987.
RG1570MRR - "Six". Because its red color changing flake reminds me of Tricia Helfer's character from Battlestar Galactica. It was also the sixth RG in my stable at the time.
RG7321 - "The Schwartz". Because it's black and I like the movie "Spaceballs".
RG3EXQM - "Faux Gilbert". Certainly nowhere near as good of quality as a real PGM. It was my first dabble into fixed bridge RG's. It has a Tone Zone bridge and PAF Pro neck.
DT200 Destroyer in transparent amber - "Mr Smith". It has a Super Distortion bridge and Humbucker from Hell neck. Named in homage to Adrian Smith. I'm thinking of getting a DT420 eventually and creating a "Mr Smith II".
I'll try to throw up some pics later but a few are probably already floating around here. All are pretty much stock finish-wise anyway.

Re: Your guitar/bass name?
I'm not really that creative, but my first guitar, a blue AFS-75T I call 'Ol Blue. I have a cream RX60 I call "Rex", and my blue RG520QS I call something along the lines of "new blue", sometimes I call it something more angry..

I name my guitars too...I don't think that's weird at all...people name their cars, guitars, whatever...it's all good ;o)
A few of the names I chose for mine...
The Strat in my avatar pic is "Snow White"
I have a yellowish/vintage white '83 USA Strat that I call "Old Yellar"
My black RG2550z is "D'Artagnan"

I like D'Artagnan. In comparison to your other strats it seems like the brash young upstart. hehehe!
I had a black RG350 I called "Betty" which I actually miss. (Yes, Edge 3 and all!) I used it on quite a few recordings and played it quite a bit. I had the pickguard changed to white so it looked like more of a classic black strat. I think I might eventually replace her with a similarly modded RG2550E. Eventually....

I would like to point out that while I hate Strats, I think Snow White is just pure beautiful!

Very cool, Super66. Where did you get that made? Or did you do it yourself?

Re: Your guitar/bass name?
Hey Ekim, got it made on the bay, the user is philaluthiertools the co is Philadelphia Luthier Tools & Supplies...they were really quick making and shipping it.
I'll likely have a couple more made, some guitars I don't mind revealing the name, some I keep it to myself
