Anybody on here write their own music?

Hi,
I was just sitting wondering how many people on here have got exampes of songs they have written or written with bands?

I'm currently working on some music, but seeing as my method of recording my guitar has gone down the proverbial toilet I am making instrumentals solely with "Reason".

I have 2 clips, one is an intro to another track (kind of like how Andonova leads onto Long Run on Dave's album), I also have a hip-hop style beat on there called "Attempt #1" I'd really like any feedback on them

http://www.soundclick.com/martinphillips

Thanks guys, take care

I've written several songs, and recorded them as sketches. Here are two, one song idea and one small instrumental idea.

Left Alone

Instrumental idea

Comments welcome of course, but mind you, these are sketches only and not to be seen as finished in any way.

Marduk I just listened to everything on your soundclick profile, and wow man it sounds so good, I think my favourite track is the "play loud blues" tribute to SRV.

All the guitar work in the two tracks on my soundclick are just patches from "Reason 2.5" the adapter I was using to plug my guitar into my computer died last week so I'm reduced to using a PC Mic and I hate them so I decided I'd work on some guitarless instrumentals until I can record again.

So at the moment I've got bags of time to write some guitar tracks for my upcoming album (lol I make myself sound so professional). It'll be my first album the initial idea was to write an EP, but since I've got like a tonne of time now I can write a full length one.

Really its just a little personal project, something I wanna' accomplish. And if people wanna' buy it then fair enough I ain't gonna' argue with that lol.

Take Care everyone

Delfino

Ps: Thanks for listening to my stuff, I'm glad you like it, it feels good to know someone likes your work

I have a bunch of demos up, and a couple will be used with my band I'm starting up (Demo 3 and Demo 9). I've also got a couple cover songs up.

Then penultimate version of my song has been uploaded, I really want your opinions I was over at the T2J board (as I am for probably 3/4's of the day) and they had some constructive criticisms I have taken into mind. They also had some praise which is always an added bonus.

I would very much appreciate your personal opinions on it, cheers guys.

Well, this stuff's going on two and a half years old (I REALLY need to start recording again, i haven't done much of late), but I have some stuff at www.purevolume.com/drewpeterson

A little sloppy in places, but it was fun. Next batch ought to be cleaner and tighter, I've made a lot of progress since then.

I'm in the process of setting up a website for my music projects. I have several rough demos to post before I begin re-recording the tunes more professionally for a cd. I'll check back again with a link hopefully soon. Peace.

I wrote some stuff a few years back. I have been doing mostly covers lately, but I plan on doing some more writing soon. I have a website that I let people upload their material to. It is at: http://carltonchase.com/phpBB2/index.php
It is basically a forum for musicians, with the ability to upload. There is a "music online" selection at the top. That is where you can listen to music, and upload. It is a fairly new site, so come help it grow.

(Hey Dave! Come make a guest appearance... )

Wow, cool topic people! Please do check my music at www.jimantonio.tk

I have 4 songs written there & believe it or not, Andy Timmons listened to 'em & liked what he heard. He picked out "Love Machine" as his favorite among the tracks. I hope Dave & you guys check 'em out too!

Good or bad reviews are very much welcome! If you check out the whole JEMSITE, killer players like Marcel Coenen & Tom Kopyto have been canned or criticized despite being among the best players out there. We can't please everybody folks so let's share our insights w/ each other, being fellow musicians & listeners! I've had a couple of ****ty reviews back here in the Philippines so bring 'em on friends!

I'll go listen to your creations as well! Music is music & if the substance is there despite poor quality, it's still good music! But anyone here who bangs on an E-chord all day & puts it on tape should be gagged & made to watch "Nash Bridges"!

Rock on!!!
