Buy this album...or your collection will never be complete!

You have to buy Mr. Weiner's album, it is the best thing I have bought this year (and that includes my G3 tickets...which actually enabled me to buy the album...but still).

As the thread states if you do not buy this album your cd collection will never be complete, there will always be something missing...and this is it, fill the void...and fill it with this bucket full of talent!

looking forward to a DW UK tour lol...but I'll be patient, I don't see it happening too soon

Hi Delfino, nice to see you here.

I haven't bought the album yet, couldn't afford it at the show, so now I'm eagerly awaiting the penpal solution. Rock on!

I've had a few days to absorb it and it's still kicking my arse! I like the melody lines and the "textures" (for lack of a better word). The phrasing reminds me a bit of Satch, but I like STSA much better than Satch's last 2 CDs. Great job, Dave!

I tend to go through listening stages of a few weeks/months of almost solid non stop Vai one time then onto Satch, then Dream Theater because I can never seem to find anything that entertains me as much as these guys have for the years I've been into them....Until now.

Listening to Dave's album has given me another artist to include in my listening repertoire. I have had it almost 1 week and I cant take it out of my CD player. I am addicted to its grooves, its tones, its melodies.

Although you can hear some obvious influences in Dave's playing he has his own sound which is very appealing and inspirational.

I love the arpeggio part in the melody of Long Run. I think it is an E ma7 arp ascending to a G#mi 7 etc. (I might have the arp names wrong but i think you know the part)

Is exactly the way I feel but my CD collection will still feel bare until Dave releases a few more recordings.

Hey Rammers, Ekim, Delf, and everyone else...

Thanks so much for the killer reviews. It blows my mind when I read these things. You guys rule! I'm starting to write a new record to hopefully have out early 05. I hope you like that as much as this one.

Thanks again for all your support. I truly appreciate it. Rock on.

I just wish I knew music theory so I could cite particular passages without having to put down CD times. There are "chill moments" all over STSA. I'm really digging it.
