Christmas prezzies!

So that time is here again, and since I expect one of these posts will pop up soon anyway, I figured I'd start it myself!

Whats everyone getting from xmas? Preferably music related of course!

I personally will be indulging in Pro Tools, a PC upgrade and the latest version of Kontact. Also looking at a DW Tshirt, and of course the must-have Xmas gift this year: of a signed copy of STSA

Hows about you?

Re: Christmas prezzies!

Well I guess this is guitar related since I am using them to make guitar bodies. I just got an early present of a 6 inch planner/ jointer, and santa is bringing a 12 inch thickness planner. I also would like to get the Dave Weiner holiday pack. You gotta love christmas. chef21

Re: Christmas prezzies!

My number one xmas wish is $$ for my album release!!! After getting it mastered, I'm broke!!!

My wife wants a nice 42" widscreen LCD TV! That would be cool...after ALL, there's nothing like watchin' G3 Live in Tokyo on the big screen!!!

...and of course the STSA Holiday pack is on the list for sure!!

Re: Christmas prezzies!

As I said in a previous thread, I am gettind Dave's cd/t-shirt xmas extravaganza pack. I am genuinely excited about this.

I might buy myself the new Ozzy covers album, that crooner doing rock songs as swing, and will inevitably buy the new Darkness album.

I want to also put a new mp3 player in my car. I have one in my MX5 (which I will probably sell now as I am a dad) but my commuting car has no working stereo whatsoever.

I'll be getting a G-Major effects processor with a Behringer FCB1010 to work it from the floor.

I received an early present in the mail today. - My STSA Holiday Package arrived!!!

If all goes as planned, I'm hoping to find a Laney VC15, 15 watt all tube combo amp under the tree on Xmas morning.

Re: Christmas prezzies!

Ahh, the S series are ace, but you cant go far wrong with a Carvin.

Bluealien: Kontact is a plug-in which features some really ace orchestral samples, among other things. Can't wait!

Re: Christmas prezzies!

I was in my local shop last Wednesday, trying guitars through a nice, gently used Mesa F-50. Instead of buying the Laney VC15 or F-50 previously mentioned, I ordered a new Fender Jimmie Vaughan sig. Strat.

Candy Apple Red.

Mmmmm........... nice.
