Question

Dave, question about your pedal board...

Not the actual pedals, just the board itself.

I need to get something similar made myself. It appears, from the pictures, that it has handles on the ends? Does that lift out of a larger ATA case?

If so, that's exactly what I need.

So what the dilly-o?

It's simple. Go to home Depot. Get a piece of plywood cut to your desired size. Cover it with velcro or any fabric/carpet that velcro will stick to. Add on handles or whatever else you want. Velcro the bottom of your pedals. There you have it.

As an alternate idea, I've seen some using a metal grate with cable ties holding down the pedals.

Damn, why'd it have to be so simple?

I guess I'd like it to go into a box too, so it's covered/protected/can't get smashed.

How do you keep yours from getting trashed on the road?

Oh, and thanks for the reply man.

It lives in a pedal board case that many companies custom make for you.

Re: Dave, question about your pedal board...

Ahh, ok. That's what I figured.

In that case, I can buy pedalboard ATA cases with a removable board for around $300.

I'll probably go that route then. Thanks man.

Re: Dave, question about your pedal board...

FYI: I bought my pedalboard/ case from NGM about 3 years ago and it still shows no signs of abuse.
