I'm sure you've heard this a thousand times by now, Dave, but your CD is the best music I've heard all year! I never tire of it and listen to it over and over again. It just has delightful melodies, great chops and always leaves me feeling good! I can't wait to hear you future music output and I for one am a dedicated fan!

Any chance of you TABbing out some of the riffs from it and putting them on your website. Not whole songs-I'm sure you have better things to do-just the main riffs or licks of interest- for example the tasty lick on Long Run 0:41-0:49 which is reprised in modified form on Shove the Sun Aside between 5:40-5:50. It's really very pleasing

All power to you mate-I keep plugging your CD on the Vai forum-I hope you go from strength to strength.

Hey Dave,
Saw you playing in Steve's show in Amsterdam, a few years back. I was so amazed.....such a good guitar player and sooooooo young! Anyway, I ordered your cd and I like it a lot, especially track # 9.....haha, just joking! Really great stuff, love your cd. Saw that the customs declaration on the package was signed by Meyer Weiner, a relative?
Cheers, man!
Henk, the Netherlands.

Re: Dave Weiner Forum

Dave,

Need your help...you probably don't remember me but I'm a good friend of Mark Dawson's, he brought me to a couple concerts of yours with Steve(EXECELLENT, by the way). We lost touch and quite frankly it's tough living without him! Been missing him for some time...a lot of time! I'm aching deep in my bones! Can you give him this number to reach me?...I moved and changed my cell phone number at the same time, as well as misplacing many of my friends numbers I really wanted to have. I fear I won't be able to find him again! Because I've been trying so many avenues to reach him including the "VAI" website.

Can you just let him know that my cell is 570-640-0884 and my home is 570-345-2052 and I just must hear his voice.

I know you 2 are close, my heart is racing at the thought of hearing his voice again...I just can't wait!!!!!!

Thank you,

Heather

Re: Dave Weiner Forum

hey dude, saw the show @ Ziggy's in winston-salem, what a crazy place to have a show in, i was wondering, how do you guys determine where your going to play? anyway, my girlfriend and I were completely blown away by your performance and meeting you guys after the show was incredible. I know you meet countless people in your profession and to take the time to talk to your fans and sign stuff speak's volume's. After the show at ziggy's it was raining just a little bit so i kept my guitar in the case until it came time for it to be signed. I've actually got a picture of you signing my ovation and one of my girlfriend standing beside you. We got a kick out the way you signed her shirt.....right on the stomach of the shirt it say's "dave was here" with a arrow pointing down, lmao. the whole experience was off the map and i thank you again for put everything you have into your show. you guy's are just to cool. curtis haigler

Re: Dave Weiner Forum

Hey there, well I just saw you the other night at Ziggy's in Winston Salem with my boyfriend. I must say that the show was awesome. For some odd reason I was one of the only girls up front, I didn't get up there until about half through the show but I made it, my boyfriend was pretty adamant about me getting up there, and he is a huge fan. I wanted him to get up there, but he stood back and let me take it all in. It was the first time I had ever seen a show like that. I guess I mean it being more about music and sound than words. I think I said that right. Anyway, I had a blast. After the show we were outside and Dave came out and signed my boyfriends guitar, I was very persistant. I had to have it signed by Steve, because well he is Steve. Dave was the first to sign it though. I got my picture taken with Dave. It was really cool to be able to just stand outside and talk to you guys. It made me realize that not all "stars" have their heads shoved up their butts. It was the first time that I got to actually kinda chill with musicians, unless you count the guys I've known in bands over the years.. Yea right!!! they don't even compare to what I saw and experienced Tuesday night.. I guess all there is to say is Thank You. Thank You for being who you are and the way you are, and keep playing man, you have some real talent. My boyfriend sent me copies of the pics and I have been cropping them to show more of you guys then the rest of the people around.

I WISH I could see a dave or Vai show in Amsterdam...What do you say Dave?

..the problem is..after that visit..to those world known 'coffee shops', I don't think I could remember much from the shows...but know I would have FUN.

cheers,

Re: Dave Weiner Forum

Hello Dave!

I have some questions for you, as to employment by a guitar. I have a problem with an index finger of the left hand, I unbend it all time! Is there any way to solve this problem? And still, is there a fast way to learn the note?

Hey Dave!

The show in Detroit was awesome last night. I was one of the guys who waited around till you guys were leaving. I was so glad I got to meet you guys. I thought it was awesome how "in touch" you guys were with the fans out there, I met everybody in the band. My friend and I were the ones asking you what kinda music you listened to. Enya eh? thats cool, to each his own!
