Hi Martin.

My guitars are Ibanez LACS (L.A. custom Shop) 7-strings. Although I love to play other guitars like strats, teles and pauls, the 7-string has been my main guitar for the last 10 years.

Hey Martin.

I have many distortion pedals but I only use them for texture over the clean channel. Live and on my cd, all the leads are from the red channel on the VHT.

hey guys,

Mr. Weiner, out of the 3 guitars you have pictured on your website, which is your favourite out of the orange-silver, black-red(?), and your blue-green?

I think its a very hard decision to make lol. But I think I'd have to go for the blue-green...just for the shade of green

I currently play a fender telecaster and I love it to bits, its comfortable and the maple fret board is really nice to play on and easy for doing crazily fast legato stuff lol.

I sent you a link earlier in the week which was too a random recording I worked on...I think its about 1:17 long or something like that, its pretty sketchy and doesn't seem to go somewhere and there is some really bad phrasing in it in my opinion...but hey...I'll get there with practice. Just wondering what you thought of it?

Anywayz, take care

The Red-black one is one of the most gorgeous axes I've ever seen. I got to see it live at the G3 and I was looking at her almost as much time as I was looking at Vai and Satch!!!

BTW Does she have a name?

Krizz: Ok sure I'll put it up, just working on a guitar customization quote generator for college, once I'm done with it I'll upload my clip...keep in mind though its not very good...definitly not my best work (even though its the first song I've tried putting together in the whole 1 year and 10 months I've been playing :-) )

take care

Delfino

Edit: I couldn't find the multimedia section, so here's the url to my soundclick profile :-)

Well out of the 3 custom shop ones, I think the orange and silver is my favorite. It just plays and sounds amazing. The others are awesome as well, but the orange and silver one just has something special in it.

Ibanez is currently working on a 7-string strat for me. I'm sick of bending strings and the rest go out of tune; of breaking strings and the guitar is useless, etc. I just want something simpler. So we're doing a 3 single coil, 22 fret, string-thru body, fixed bridge, 7-string strat-type guitar. It's going to have a maple neck (of course), white perloid pickguard and a blue sunburst finish. Should be done by Sept or Oct according to Ibanez.

I am currently using Ernie Ball 10-56 strings.

I have a bunch of distortion pedals. As I said before, I don't use them over the distorted channel. I use them for a bit of grit on the clean channel when necessary. All my distortion and lead tone comes from the VHT's dirty channel. Some of my favs are the Voodoo Lab Sparkle Drive and the Keeley modded DS-1 & Ts-9 (I don't like the originals).
