DW.com's Blues Jam 2005!

ok, here's my idea. i wanna do a blues jam with everyone here....we all get 12 bars....dave plays the rhythm, and at the end, he does the last solo...whatcha think?

i don't know how to do all the editing, so someone will have to do that....let's do it!

desired tempo: 50

Yeah I'd be up for it to. We each record a piece 12 bars long then send it to whoever is actually creating the track who throws them all together as audio files.

We need to choose a common BPM, and maybe define more of a song structure. We don't want just a buncha guitar solos over a backing do we? :P

Re: DW.com's Blues Jam 2005!

12 bar blues root note of E..

Everyone loves E

And Jeff, yes I think that is exactly what we want

Bass solo sounds wicked.

Trick is now we need someone to make a simple backing track, preferably Dave, that has drums, bass and rhythm guitar so everyone can go nuts. Some odd key changes hear and there would be nice.

Everyone could download it, then solo over a certain section. Depending on how many people play something, the section lengths could be increased to fit everyone in the song and voila! The DW.com jam!

I've seen these kinda things come and go, but if someone creates a cool backing track I'd love to take part in it!

wat key will we make it? E yeah

how about a couple of different 12 bar loops? so each person can download ,record there 12 bars and send it back. then in would be really fun trying to get it all to sound like a song.haha.. that would be fun.. " JEM SITE THE CD "...............you never know
