FOR SALE: Digidesign Protools 001

Compatible with Mac OS and Windows XP:

Comes with a PCI card and cable to link to your computer. I recorded all of "Shove The Sun Aside" through this unit. The Protools software gives you 32 tracks per session and I'll hook you up with some schweet plug-ins.

The catch:

This unit comes with Protools version 6.4. Digidesign is not upgrading the software for this unit anymore in the future. However, if you need a solid, powerful, simple to use recording solution, this will be fine. This version has more features than most people will ever use anyway.

Price: $400 + shipping.

If you're interested or have questions or would like pictures, contact me.

dave@daveweiner.com or AIM: daveweiner1

Thanks.

Dave

Just a quick plug:

I have one of these, was also my first recording setup, and they rule! $400 is very reasonable!

Dave, can't believe you're letting it go, what're you replacing it with?

Re: FOR SALE: Digidesign Protools 001

Dave, well you know I'm interested!

The price is very reasonable guys! I just bought an 001 for myself 1.5 months ago. Pro tools is really good at handling both MIDI & Audio too. While Cubase is fantastic for MIDI, it's weak on Audio. Adobe Audition is GREAT on Audio, but sucks for MIDI. PT is my happy medium.

Keep me posted, Dave, if your first dib guy falls through.
