Goodbye Halo2, Hello Ghost Recon 2!

Ghost Recon 2 came out and I didn't even know it. The first Ghost Recon games are by far the best LIVE playing I've experienced.

Hopefully the new one will play just like the originals and NOT like Halo 2's online gaming. I still can't get into the way Halo2 handles. I feel claustrophobic when I play it and it actually makes me sick to my stomach.

I'm going to go get GR2 today, i'll probably be online tonight playing it.

Dave

oh pish posh....I LOVE Halo 2 online. Most fun I've had in ages...it's seriously addicting. Ghost Recon 2 looks sweet but I'm gonna wait because I still need to polish up on my Halo skills. Some sick players out there.

But I guess it's all a matter of personal taste

I do like the slower pace of games like Ghost and Halo as opposed to Unreal Tournament or something.

GR2 rocks. It's harder than the first, but I've only played it a little bit. Can't afford it til after X-mas, most likely.

I agree Halo 2 doesn't feel at all the same. That's the biggest disappointment for me. Oh well. Hopefully, I'll have DSL soon and I'll be kicking arse with (or against) the Weiner Brigade!

Yeah, Dave thinks he's all bad cuz he waxed me twice last night. I'll have my revenge once I figure out the boards. I'm only on the 2nd mission on the campaign. Oh, yes! Revenge WILL be mine!

What did you think about the other Ghost Recon games, the ones that were kind of sequels to the first, but kind of not in the same sense lol like "Ghost Recon: Island Thunder"?

I got that recently, its very addictive

Yeah get a PC and play some REAL games, none of this silly "console" stuff.

It's one of those things my Mac-addicted roommate bought so he could play good games (like Half Life 2), and, I might add, is now hooked up to his 23 inch apple monitor, instead of his powerbook.

Yeah, play games on your PC, so you can spend your whole life resolving software conflicts instead of playing. X-box Live might kick you out once a night, but it works better than any PC I've ever owned.

Man, I HATE computers.

pfffft.

funny, I also have Half-Life 2....superior graphics and physics....but I just had more fun playing Halo 2, using those grenades offer more fun anything that HL had to offer. Counterstrike, despite the facelift, still feels outdated...the level designs are boring...blah. Hald 2 multiplayer is really where it's at. On paper, HL 2 should be better....but Halo is just more fun when all is said and done

Ugh I can't stand counterstrike, but thats only because I suck big time *LOL*!

Now throw me in a game of Battlefield Vietnam and it'll be a different story!
