HALO 2 finally!

Any one here play Xbox? Specifically Halo? I lost interest in video games a loooong time ago but when my friend Mark got Halo for xbox, I had to get it. Such an awesome game. Tomorrow (Nov 9), Halo 2 comes out. And for those of you who didn't know, Vai played guitar on the theme song for the game.

I've cleared my schedule as I'll be spending all of tomorrow playing Halo 2.. woohoo

Oh yea!!! Halo ROCKS. Its one of the only video games I've gotten into and the sole reason I bought an Xbox. Strapped for cash so I wont be picking up H2 till xmas probably but have fun Dave

I've been driving myself insane trying to play Halo 1 all the way through without dying once! It's a lot harder than you think!

I'm convinced the game cheats. I get blown up last night for no reason. I'm getting PISSED!!! And I don't mean DRUNK!!!!

Man I've had Halo 2 pre-ordered for months lol...I've been anticipating this for a few years now (that may sound kinda sad actually lol), but yeah I can't wait to get it.

Sorry about the double post....but they're a few hours apart lol...I just got an e-mail saying my special edition copy of Halo 2 has been despatched from Amazon...so I should get it on the release date

(UK release date that is...11/11/04)

The multiplayer is apparently amazing...

i can't play that game without getting dizzy for some reason. Its the only vid game that does that to me!

Anyway, Steve's contribution totally rocks!

Yeah it's cool hearing Steve's playing at certain points in the game.

After wasting many hours yesterday playing Halo 2, here's my review:

The game: very good.

The online gaming: It's ok at best. What the hell is the deal with having to go back to the pre-game lobby after every single game? Why can't you just play another game with the people you're playing with? If any of you play Ghost Recon online, you know what I'm talking about. If anyone figures out how to stay in a room after a game, let me know.

What do you guys think of the game?

I'll be playing the campaign co-op this weekend once my friend gets hold of the game.

I'll wait until it is out on PC so I can get into the multiplayer. I can't get used to control pads anymore after using a mouse.

I usually am on late though. Like 11pm or midnight eastern time. However, if there was going to be a big game planned, I could play earlier. I'll be in LA from Monday - Saturday, so I won't be on Xbox then.
