I think with Favored Nations Dave has more chance to get more CDs out and he gets more chance to be known by a wider market.
I´ve seen some FN material here in Monterrey, Mexico, and this is not a market that consumes highly music like Billy Sheehan´s, Mike Keneally´s, Stu Hamm´s, The YardBirds (Ironically the group thatJeff Beck,
Eric Clapton and
Jimmy Page were part of is not THAT KNOWN by the regular Joe and Jane in this town) or yes, Dave Weiner´s.
I really hope this baby gets aggresive distribution. I´ll torture the managers of the music stores (Saharis and Mix Up) that I go so they finally say "here it´s your bloody CD, get off my back".
