Sorry to hear that dude. I really feel for you. I've got a heart thing I'm keeping an eye on so I can relate.
Treat it very aggressively - don't wait, and don't be afraid to question your doctors and get a second opinion.
I saw the Tom Greene show where he went through the details of his testicular cancer and the surgery. It was actually very educational.

I'm going for a scan in the new year for a problem I've got with my ear. I spent about £200 on tickets to see Vai this year and not ended up going because it may be more serious than anticipated. It broke my heart because I really wanted to get to meet Steve and Dave and the guys (been a fan of Steve's since Expo '92) but I guess that's nothing compared to what you're going through right now.

Let's hope that you recover and do it damn sharpish mate!

This is a very unfortunate cicumstance, I got checked last year for testicular cancer and the exam was definetly not painful. Making it a yearly checkup is what we should all do. You always think it's not going to be me but it is more common then we think. I think the stats are between the ages of 18 and 35. I could be wrong. My heart goes out to you because I know I lost alot of sleep until I got checked.
