Yes the entire cd is all 7 strings. The distorted parts and leads were done with the silver and orange 7 string and the cleans were done with the blue and green one. "Tourmaline" was done with a 7 string Ibanez acoustic.

That's tight. I have yet to play a 7-string, I guess that's all part of being a lefty. I bet those new Ibanez 7-string acoustics are pretty awesome. Sure sound good on "Tourmaline". I wonder how it is to play?

Hey Jai.

Ibanez actually doesn't make the 7 string acoustic anymore. They sound great, but can be a pain to play sometimes. It's hard to get the rattle out of the low B. But when I listen to it on my cd, I love the added noise now.

Hey guys,

I finally got to play an Ibanez 7-string model. I got to play an RG 1527 and it plays really nicely, apparently there have been some complaints about the bridge being "cheaply" made though...however I didn't think so I love the whole thing.

It was a very easy to make the transition between 6-7 strings...definitly gonna' buy one when the money starts coming in.

Mr. Weiner, what was the turning point for you to make the change from 6 strings to 7?
