I know you are still not interested in a female, but it doesn't hurt to ask.
I had contacted you a couple years ago when you were looking. I saw the sign at Zeswitz. I think it'd awesome that you'll be touring with Fripp. He's a sick player.

Hey there.

I never said I'm not interested in a female singer. i'm looking for the *right* singer. Male or female.

Do you have a demo?

Dave

Sure. What do you want to hear? I got all kinds of stuff... from jingles to funk to metal. Where would I send it?

I'd llike to hear anything that can demo the abilities of your voice. Original stuff is always better.

You can send it to:

OK, I'll get on it. I'll be out of town gigging this weekend, so give me 'til early next week to send it. Shouldn't take long since I'm just across town.

It's being set up right now. I have to wait for them to build it. A page should be up in a few days. The address will be www.alisab.net

Good luck, AlisaB! Wish i was there in the States & try out too! Before i became a player & a rock fanatic, i was singing motown & gospel when i was a kid! I'm halfway my solo instrumental album but plan to record a vocal/guitar CD that will cover most styles, esp. rock/metal & R&B.

I think it's nice of Dave pulling no punches in searching for singers, w/o any discrimination or prerequisites. A sign of a true musician!

Hey Dave,
I'm sure you have no lack of musicians for a backing band, but are you accepting demos for musicians maybe to go on tour with?

Hey Invisibo.

What do you play, for how long and where do you live?

well as to what instrument I play...I'm kind of going through an identity crisis. I mostly play guitar but I'm also quazi on keys, do a little vocals, but guitar is pretty much what I mostly do. I live in New Hampshire in a town where there is actually almost nothing...except a giant concert venue. I've been playing for about four years and have been known to "fit in the pocket" quite nicely. I don't know if your planning on needing rhythm work at all, but you do have some serious contrapuntual (I think I just butchered the world counterpart) guitar parts. Course going to GIT I'm sure you know every guitar player and his brother who's got a serious amount of chops. hehe side rant: When I first picked up guitar I thought it was a fun instrument, got in my punk band and had fun. Got into Jazz then into Fusion than into prog-rock/metal, and now that I want to do something on the guitar it turns out everyone and his borhter plays guitar....there's no justice...end rant
